From that first T-shirt nearly a decade ago, Under Armour® developed its unique line of microfiber gear and subsequently launched the performance product industry.

Under Armour® signs $11m deal with Texas Tech University

Under Armour Inc. will spend $11 million over five years to outfit the entire Texas Tech University athletic program.

The Baltimore-based sportswear apparel company will provide uniforms, apparel and footwear to each of the Lubbock, Texas, university’s 17 varsity athletic teams.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The deal begins in July 2009 and broadens Under Armour’s current outfitting deal with Texas Tech’s football team.
